The Simple Truth About Optimized Web Content

Auto Date Wednesday, May 7th, 2008

To rank well in any search engine, the words you write should
never be a second thought. They must be your absolute first
thought. Give careful attention to the words on your web pages
right from the very beginning of planning and designing your
website.

Content development experts know the one thing that causes
websites to win or lose in the search engines is Words. The
words you use and how you use them to create your content is
your best asset is to naturally market your website in the
search engines.

Why is that?

Website content that is “optimized” for the search engines
deliberately aims right at the very words and phrases people are
typing as search terms as they hunt for information or products.

It All Makes Sense

There is nothing mystical about it… it’s as black-and-white
and sensible as it gets! Readers of web pages need to be
immediately assured that the page they land on is what they’re
after. The page needs to be clear and on point.

It’s the same for the major search engines. Just like people,
the search engines need to identify right away what a web page
is about. They need definite pointers and clues to guide how and
where they will list your web page in their reports.

This is done with the use of keywords. Targeting the best words
and phrases is done through keyword research. Research digs up
the niche words that people really do use; words that have a
good demand and low supply! Your website development must begin
here, to be a contender for high-ranking pages.

With well-designed, keyword-rich content pages that are linked
together using keywords, search engines are more likely to index
your web pages on Page One of their listing.

SEO Is A Guide, Not A Gimmick

Think of writing SEO content not as a ploy or a trick to get
better rankings. Think of it as it really should be, and that is
simply to help the search engines list your web pages in the
best possible way.

Search engine technology is advancing rapidly too. Shallow
repetition of keywords throughout the text will become a thing
of the past. Search engines will be looking harder and smarter
for relevance and meaning to be woven throughout a site’s pages.

Why? So they can bring the most accurate and fulfilling web
pages back to the searcher. Period. Because without this
pinpoint accuracy, advertisers will not reap the benefits of
paid advertising. This one trend will motivate webmasters to
improve the relevance and resourcefulness of their web content.

People Demand Quality

People will continue to demand refreshing, informative content
- which is “who” the content is really and truly for. After all,
we only write a web page according to the search engines’
demands so people will find it.

It will be no coincidence when someone types a search phrase and
your website is either absent from view or is indexed highly on
the results page.

It will also be no coincidence that when someone lands on your
web page, they either click away from your highly ranked page
because the content is worthless, or they stay with you and
engage because the content is important and meaningful to them.

Just remember: Don’t get “number bound” when you do keyword
research. Use common sense in keyword selection. Find the easier
words to market, words with a smaller audience. Then let nature
take its course to the bigger rankings.

It all happens because the content is built to tell a search
engine exactly what it wants to know. What is this page about?
All the rest is then for people!

Clones, Engenharia genética e o futuro da humanidade

Auto Date Friday, April 18th, 2008

A evoluo protegida

A evoluo operria

Sempre procurou manter o poder segurando a informao.

Do I Really Need To Write Articles For E-zines?

Auto Date Saturday, April 12th, 2008

When I was first advised to start writing articles, this was the first question I asked. As I was totally freaked out at the thought of me writing for others to read.

Many people subscribe to e-zines and the readers often trust the recommendation of their editors. By sending articles to e-zines you will get valued visitors to your web-site. For each article you get published by them, the traffic to your website is increased.

What is there to gain from publishing e-zine articles?

At the end of your article you can add a resource box. With this you can brand your web site, business and yourself. In it you could include your name, business name, web site address, e-mail address, anything really that brands your business.

Become a GURU! By publishing regularly you will become known as an expert on the topics you write about. This gives you an advantage that helps you compete by giving you and your business extra credibility.

Some articles are placed on a publisher’s home page. If each issue is placed on their home page you can gain extra exposure.
If your publisher archives their e-zine, in other words stores back copies. This again gives you greater exposure; it is good for the sceptics in that they can read previous articles before making the decision to subscribe.

Free advertising!! It costs you nothing to have that resource box displayed on each article you publish. You can then spend your profits on other forms of advertising.

You never know, your articles may well inspire others to hire you to write articles, e-books. What a great way to multiply your income.

By allowing e-zine publishers to publish your articles in their free e-books, your advertising could multiply all over the internet. Simply because people give them away. We all like something for free.

Using an e-zine publisher that has a free content directory on their web site gets your article published all over the web. They’ll allow their visitors to republish your article. Remember you will still have your resource box at the end of your article. That’s branding!!

You’ll gain people’s trust, particularly if you area regular publisher. Like most people if they like they’ll read it. They won’t be as hesitant to buy your product or service.

Now you can see the benefits, it’s time to write that article. In fact write one a month and submit it to e-zine directories. You’ll be glad you did.

The Power of Article Submission

Auto Date Saturday, April 5th, 2008

If you’re a webmaster, one of the best and most cost effective ways to generate traffic to your website is through article submission. Sometimes one well written article is all that it takes to propel your website to new heights, as is the case with one article I wrote called “Achieving Optimum Health”.

After almost five years of webmastering a website for self improvement and doing all kinds of things to get my site noticed, this article literally transformed my online life from one on life support to a progressively profitable online business.

I wrote this article sometime back and submitted it first to SelfGrowth.com and a few other sites. From there, the article was picked up by other webmasters who posted it on their websites. From these new websites, the same process repeated itself… other webmasters picked it up, posted it on their sites and more webmasters picked it up and it goes on and on. It has a viral effect.

How does that benefit me or my website?

For a start, since every webmaster who posted my article on his or her site is required to retain my website link on the resource box, it increases my in-coming links. As you know, more in-coming links to my website means better ranking with Google since it is an indicator of my site popularity and relevancy.

In addition, all these in-coming links increase my website visitors and traffic, and therefore increases my ranking with Alexa.

The best part is that all these increased traffics increase my Google Adsense earnings as well as my affiliate earnings. In addition, all these exposure also increase my visibility on the Internet and raised my profile as well as my authority in the area I wrote about. Also, my newsletter subscriber base expanded.

To actually see how powerful all these are, do these 3 simple steps:

1. Go to Google Search at Google.com

2. Cut and Paste these search terms into the search box (including the ” at the beginning and the end).

“Achieving Optimum Health”+”Tim Ong”

3. Click on the search button.

The results generated will show you that this article - Achieving Optimum Health - of mine is presently being published in more than a hundred websites and directories all over the Net.

Can you imagine what that kind of exposure can do for your online business?
